KSA Eboard Elections:

Responsibilities:

President:

 - Lead KSA members and Eboard with a solid vision and commitment

 - Ensure that KSA members expectations and needs are met through current events or creation of new events
- Manage and operate all events

 - Delegate responsibilities to Eboard members

Vice President
– Support all Presidential responsibilities
– Fill in when President is unavailable
– Make sure vision of President is carried out effectively in all eventsTreasurer
– Responsible for budget and reimbursements of funds
– Must work directly with the Office of Student Affairs for program forms
- Must make sure budget is constantly reallocated to optimize club spendingSecretary
– Take minutes at meetings, keep track of KSA membership, and reserve rooms

KCN Director
- Create vision and theme for KCN that pertains to Korean culture
- Responsible for producing our annual marquee event, Korean Culture Night.
1. Find acts, models and designers
2. Write and revise script
3. Properly budget time and money for productionAssistant KCN Director
– Assist the KCN Director in all facets KCN production
- Help further develop and enhance vision of KCNSocial Chairs
– Responsible for events held outside of NYU campus
– Major events are Escape and KCN Afterparty
– Must be able to work with promoters and be adept at negotiating contracts

Public Relations Chair
– Creatively promote all KSA events through all channels
– Build and maintain relations with groups outside of KSA (F4NK, KISO, Columbia, ACU, etc)
– Responsible for directing and/or responding to all incoming KSA emails

Junior Representative
– The liaison between junior class and KSA

Sophomore Representative
– The liaison between sophomore class and KSA

Webmaster
– Responsible for maintaining KSA website, Twitter account, and Facebook

Please note that the above is merely the minimal responsibility for each position. Weekly KSA Eboard meetings are held on Sunday nights at 6:30PM, and all members are expected to be enthusiastic, helpful, and excited about KSA and all our events!

 - Name / Class / School

 - Positions you are running for (up to two)

 - Are you a KSA member? Which KSA events have you attended?

 - Why are you interested in running for the particular Eboard position, and what are some things you can bring to the board? (under one page)

2. Elections will be held this Sunday, May 1st at 7:30PM. Please meet at the lobby of Tisch Hall (red Stern undergraduate building)

Please come prepared with a short 2-3 minute speech. A short Q&A may follow. Food and refreshments will be served!

3. If you are abroad and cannot attend in person, your written response will be presented instead. Alternatively, you may submit a video and we will be glad to show that.
